Adult Ministries
 We offer a variety of excellent seminars at Southland. Their purpose is clear: to equip people to live for God in the different spheres of their lives. Please know that we do not see these seminars as the end point, but as a step in the process of becoming more like Christ. Further, our seminars will introduce their attendees to some of the foundational values of Southland Community Church: two examples being prayer and the potential of every believer being a leader. Here are some commonly asked questions:
What Is The Cost? The cost of each seminar is set at an amount that will allow us to cover most of the expenses that we incur. If anyone would like to take a seminar, but cannot afford to do so, they can contact Eunice McAllister at 326-9020 or e-mail, as help is available.
Is There Child Care? Usually there is no child care offered for our seminars, but please feel free to ask, as there are exceptions.
What Kind Of Commitment Is Required? Our commitment to those who attend Southland’s seminars is to offer a top-notch experience with excellent content. In return, we ask that participants commit to regular attendance and active participation.
Can Seminars Be Done In A Cell? At times, we have people who desire to take a specific seminar that is not being offered in the time frame that they’re looking for. Fortunately, many of our seminars can be adopted to be taken in a home by as few as four or five people (a “cell”). All that is needed in such circumstances is a leader, which we can usually find rather quickly. Please let us know if you would like to take a seminar before it’s scheduled to be offered again.
