Welcome Reception
If you are new to Southland, it can seem like a big place with lots of people. You may be asking... "where do I start!" We encourage you to join us at one of our upcoming Welcome Receptions.
Welcome Receptions are a great opportunity to meet the Southland staff, hear about the various ministries at Southland, get a chance to meet other people and enjoy some great refreshments!

Southland 101
Southland 101 is a 4 part seminar that introduces participants to the essentials of Southland Community Church and provides an overview on “what we believe”, “our history”, and “our philosophy of ministry, worship, and leadership”. In addition, the seminar explains our organizational structure and the various ministries undertaken at SCC.
The dates and times of the seminars will be posted in the bulletin in the news and events section of this website well in advance of the event. A sign-up will be made available at the Information Centre. Potential participants can also call the church office at 326-9020 for more information.
Southland 101 is open to anyone interested in learning more about Southland Community Church, whether new to Southland or seasoned veterans. Completion of the seminar is a prerequisite for membership, but those who attend are not obligated to become members. We want everyone in attendance here at Southland to know who we are, where we came from, and where we are headed.

Friendship Loaf
 If you are new to Southland Community Church, we would like to connect with you and let you know that we are glad that you have joined up. Sometime during the weekend services, take a minute to fill out a response card and include your name, phone number and address. We would love to send out one of our friendly volunteers to deliver a tasty lemon Friendship Loaf to you along with a recent Southland Sentinel (our newspaper), a Southland booklet and an invitation to our next Welcome Reception.
