Marriage Retreat

God invented marriage as a very unique relationship, unlike any other human relationship. If it is your desire to discover God’s design for marriage and more specifically for your marriage, you are invited to participate in Southland’s Marriage Retreat.

What is the Marriage Retreat?

The retreat will include worship times, relevant teaching, and an emphasis on practicum. Our desire is to see marriages move from “Good to Great” as couples learn to pray, communicate and understand each other and marriage.

What are the requirements to attend the Marriage Retreat?
Couple must be a regular attendee of Southland. As these are our first marriage retreats we feel it is fair at this point to reserve this for Southland couples. In the future we expect the marriage retreats will be open to all other couples.

Retreat Details

Dates: May 17-19, 2013 - FULL

September 27-29, 2013

Place: Wilderness Edge Retreat Centre in Pinawa (see map)

Cost: $300 per couple. (A $50 deposit is required with this registration to reserve your spot!)
Schedule: Check-in and registration is on Friday by 5:30pm followed by supper at 6:00pm. The retreat runs until Sunday lunch. (leave after lunch)

What to bring:

You will need to bring your Bible, a notebook, a pen, and any personal items and toiletries. Bring casual comfortable clothing and shoes. Also, you may want to bring along your favorite game to play during breaks.Above all, bring a heart that is willing to be ministered to by the Lord Himself!

Note: Due to the nature of the retreat, we are not able to accommodate babies or children. If you are a nursing mother, we would love to have you attend the retreat at a later date in order to get the most benefit.
