CHILD DEDICATION - May 10 & 11 Child dedication will be taking place during the weekend services of May 10th and 11th (Mother's Day Weekend) and June 7th and 8th. If you would like your child to be dedicated on either of those weekends please sign up at the Information Centre or contact Tanya at the church office at 326-9020. Click here to e-mail Tanya.

SHINE - May 25  This one hour worship event for families of young children is always saturated with childlike enthusiasm, surprises for the kids & clear teaching moments. SHINE, quite simply, is a sight to behold and we’re sure, brings great joy to our Heavenly Father. Please join us for the final SHINE before fall, and double your enjoyment by bringing another family with you!

ENCOUNTER - May 30 - June 1  If you have never attended an Encounter or you have not attended for a while, you will not want to miss this life-changing retreat.  The Encounter God weekend is filled with challenging teaching, inspiring worship, powerful testimonies, and meaningful ministry all combined to assist participants in finding freedom from the chains that so commonly bind us. Pick up a registration form at the Information Centre or contact Grace Hiebert at the church office at 326-9020.

CHURCH PICNIC - June 8, 1pm This is the one time during the year when the entire Southland Church family can be together at the same time.  You will not want to miss this very fun event complete with an 18' slide, bouncers, soccer and baseball games and FREE hotdogs!  Pop and water will also be provided.  What to bring?  Last names A-O, bring a large salad and P-Z bring a larger dessert, your lawn chair or blanket, baseball glove, soccer gear, and don't forget your family.

WATOTO CHILDREN'S CHOIR - June 14 & 15 Southland will be hosting the Watoto Children’s Choir from Uganda during all 4 services the weekend of June 14-15.   Dressed in traditional African costumes, Watoto’s performances  are a soulful blend of African rhythm, contemporary gospel, and ethnic dance, woven together with challenging stories of lives changed from tragedy to triumph.  The mission of this world-traveled choir is to disciple for Christ, the next generation of Ugandan leaders.  You will not want to miss hearing and seeing this precious children so bring your family and come early!
